Social Listening- Elon Musk vs. Twitter
I have decided to analyze Elon Musk and his proposal to buy out Twitter, a social media site. As you probably know, Musk owns the company Tesla, an automotive electric vehicle and clean energy company based in Austin, Texas. I am not a huge fan of Musk or Tesla but rather an avid twitter user and have noticed some red flags amid Musk's discussion upon buying Twitter. The value proposition of Twitter is simple. It allows people all around the world of different backgrounds and nationalities to communicate and share everything including news, culture, and lifestyle- having an audience reach lightning fast speeds. Musk plans to make Twitter a "platform for free speech around the globe". Twitter has stricter rules and have adopted those over the years due to manipulation of elections, the spread of health misinformation, and the harass of people in masses.
